This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:
Day one. Meet at Indian Trail Park and ride 8 AM Friday. Make our way to carver’s gap trail head. 1.2 mile hike to Jane bald. Set up camp. Depending on weather, we may camp at a less windy location. Day two. Leave camp and day hike. 2.8 mile hike to over mountain shelter. Enjoy the views. Eat some food. 2.8 mile hike back to Jane bald camp. Dinner, trick-or-treat, enjoy the views. Hopefully the timing is right for the fall colors. Day three. Hike back to carvers gap. Drive back to our wonderful city. Some say it is the best views on the Appalachian trail.
