We will travel a little over 90 miles up to Tennessee and see three waterfalls including the ‘Secret’ waterfall on Rock Creek, after some root grabbing on the way up, and butt sliding on the way back down. We’ll lunch at the lovely ‘Secret’ waterfall on Rock Creek; and after driving a short distance to our second trailhead, hike another three miles roundtrip for a total of 6 moderate miles for the day.

This lovely waterfall hike has two shallow water crossings for which you can bring extra wet shoes of some sort.

There will be optional inexpensive dining on the way back at ‘the Gondolier’ Italian restaurant (and wide variety of other foods offered – they make a good pizza too).

This is not a rough hike by Bruce Aldridge standards, but has plenty of nice scenery including a beautiful overlook of Lake Ocoee on the way to Benton Falls.
