Itinerary:

FULL DISCLOSURE: The main goal of this hike is to significantly lower your guilt level at having eaten too much turkey! The added benefit is that it will keep you away from your computer, thus preventing those frivolous Black Friday purchases!!

Also, this is a FAST PACED HIKE, so if you are recovering from injury or have any mobility issues, this is not the hike for you! BTW, masks are optional, however, based on your personal needs, feel free to use a mask and/or practice social distancing.

That said, RAIN or SHINE, we'll hike the refurbished South Peachtree Creek boardwalk from MEDLOCK PARK to the Candler Lake loop (on the Emory campus), then past Mason Mill Park to N. Druid Hills and back. We'll maintain a brisk pace to get our blood pumping over the approx. 6.4 mile roundtrip hike.

The majority of the hike is on a wooden boardwalk or concrete path, with some sections on gravel, dirt etc., so wear appropriate footwear.
