Itinerary:
From the parking lot we will walk 0.7 miles to Confederate Hall inside the park. From there we will climb approximately 840 feet to the summit of Stone Mountain and descend to Cherokee trail along a different route. We will walk on the Cherokee trail for about one and a half miles, and return to our cars along Stonewall Jackson Drive and Nature Garden Trail.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Proceed East on US 78 (Stone Mountain Freeway). Merge onto GA 10 West via Exit 5. Proceed 0.5 miles on GA 10 to the first exit. At the end of the ramp turn left. Drive a mile or so, past a gas station and a funeral parlor (both on your right). The parking lot will be on your left, about 0.1 miles past City Hall (which will be on your right).
