The Silver Comet Trail is part of the Rails to Trails program, which converts abandoned railroad tracks into multi-use trails. This particular trail stretches all the way to Alabama and is named for the Silver Comet train which used to use it. It is paved and the grade never exceeds 2% except for a bridge crossing. We will plan to ride 20 miles at a pace of 10MPH, but of course we can adjust that according to how the group feels. After the ride we will go to Moes for lunch.

Required Items to Bring:
Bike (pretty much any type bike will do - road, mountain, hybrid, commuter, etc.)
