We will meet at the East Palisades Unit, Whitewater Creek Parking area.  There is a $3 parking fee per vehicle, unless you have an Annual Pass.  Either the daily fee pass, or annual pass must be displayed in your windshield while parked.

We will begin promptly at 12:15 PM.

We will hike along the several trails of the East Palisades Unit making a few very brief stops for photo opportunities.  We plan to keep a moderate pace and on the hilly portions should get the heart rate up.  Parts of the trail may be slightly steep with protruding roots and rocks so wear sturdy footwear.

The hike will be approximately 4 miles, and we will stop midway through the hike at a scenic rocky cliff to enjoy the view, take photos, have a snack, and rehydrate.
