Itinerary:
The 17 acre Lake Cheaha is a popular swimming spot in Alabama, at the foot of Talladega Mountain.
We will meet at Cheaha State Park's Country Store at 10 am Eastern Time (Alabama is on Central Time), and drive 3 miles to the lake. Those of us that are willing, will hike the Rock Garden Trail up to the restaurant in Cheaha, where we will all gather at 12:30 pm (Eastern Time) to have Sunday brunch (cost: around $12). The trail is about 1 mile long, with an elevation change of almost 1000 ft. If you do not want to hike the trail, you can just drive to the Country Store, which is very close (about 200 yds) to the resaturant. After lunch we will either go back to the lake, or hike on some of the trails in the area.

Required Items to Bring:
If you plan on hiking the trail, bring plenty of water and good waliking shoes
Recommended Items to Bring:
