Itinerary:

     This is truly Armin's last leg of the AT!  I am missing the section between Springer Mountain and Long Creek Falls.  We will drive to FS 42/Springer and hike down to see Springer Mountain and then head North on the Benton MacKaye Trail to summit Ball Mountain and Big Stomp Gap.  We will continue north on the BMT to Long Creek Falls.  There we can eat lunch.  We will then travel southbound on the AT back to the summit Springer Mountain for the sunset at 5:30 pm sharp!

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Mansell Road to Ga 400 north, we take a bunch of "country" roads and end up at FS 42 near Springer.  The last several miles of the drive will be on dirt/gravel forest service roads.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $52.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
