Easy to moderate Hike 7 miles

NOTE: My hike is not a fast hike, its more casual slower paced hike, so if you are fast hiker, this hike may not be your hike.

Its been couple of years since I last did this hike, its a very beautiful and nice hike, first 3.8 miles are very easy, and well the rest is moderate, the trail goes along partially on Dicks Creek, and converges with Middle fork broad river, there will be a very minor river crossing at near halfway point. Here I saw a naturally made tree loop, I guess when it was young it was some how rolled in to a loop and it jest kept growing... many indian ruins on the trails well at least I think it is... there are many interesting wild flowers and plants on the trail. (last time I saw a bunny rabbit on the trail along with...)

Required Items to Bring:
Plenty of water, some snacks and lunch. If you have a hiking shoes, its better. Trekking pole if you have it, if not you can find a walking stick on the trail. Rain gear incase of unexpected rain.

Ayersville, GA; 706-754-6221 Due to minimal parking area, this event is carpool only. From MARTA station, go East on I-285, then North on I-85, North on I-985, I-985 will become 365 and then 441, when 365 becomes 441, look for Cody road (small side street on the right), turn right on Cody road, cody becomes Savage road after you cross over Camp Creek Rd, then when it crosses over Dicks Hill Pkwy it becomes Ayersville Rd., the road becomes gravel road, when it come to a T turn right and Look for FR 87, turn right on FR 87 and follow to Dicks Creek.
