Itinerary:
This is the second hike for our 4-event Wednesday.  Feel free to sign up for just this event or join us on the others.

Morgan Falls Park provides some scenic overlooks of
the Bull Sluice Lake, which is a small reservoir of the Chattahoochee River, including a chance to see Gold Branch from the Morgan Falls Dam side of the lake. We will hike a few areas. We'll take the Blue Sluice trail far enough to see some interesting rock formations.  Climbing up to the rocks can be a little difficult, so an option would be to stay on the trail. Then, we'll hike up the 1 mile trail that ascends and crosses the overlook. The terrain itself is rather bleak looking this winter, but the lake views are great.  Then, we'll walk down the road to the dam to get a close-up look at the structure that governs the depth of the lake. There are a couple of dog parks here that provide a safe playground area for our four-footed friends.
