Itinerary:

We will begin our hike along a flat trail following closely to the Chattahoochee River for about a mile as a warm up. We will then enter the Sope Creek area, hike up hill, around the lake, to the ruins, and then down along the banks of Sope Creek. We will then hike several other trails in the Sope Creek area before heading back down to the river and winding down on the flat riverside trail back to the cars.

We will cover approximately 7 miles. This hike is a little longer than typical hikes in this location and the pace will be on the quicker side of moderate. There will be some short areas along Sope Creek that will require some minimal rock hoping.

We will take a couple short breaks for rehydration, and to take photos.
