Itinerary:
So I am revisiting a journey I embarked on one year ago by myself.  My experience was quite extraordinary so I want to share it with others.  Last year I did this loop in 4 days and this year I want to go around in 3.  Having others around to motivate eachother I think we can do this.

The plan will be to drive up on Friday to get in place for an early start Saturday morning.  We will start going northbound on the DRT/BMT from HWY 60.  Approximately 17 miles later we camp on top of Coosa Bald for Saturday night.  From there we will hike down to Sassafras Mountain  which is about 20 miles from Coosa Bald to camp for Sunday night.  So this means we only have about 18 miles to go to get back to our cars at HWY 60.

I will be screening everyone who signs up for the event.  Please make sure you have hiked with me and that you are aware of your abilities.  This is an extremely tough trip, but well worth it!  Food will never taste as good as the first meal you have when you get off this trail.  Definitely you should be able to hike 20 miles in one day with 40 pounds of equipment.
