NOTE: My hikes are leisure speed at 1.5 to 2 miles an hour....with plenty of breaks for water and snacks....if you are fast hiker and wants to hike fast, this may not be the hike for you.

Fall Colours are hopefully here, this is one of mt favorite hike during the Autumn season, at beautiful Brasstown Valley Resort, half of the trail is maintained by the resort and the other by the city. The hike to the top is quite steep, but the views are incredible, there are many small creeks but one of my favorite is this 100 foot bridge over a wide spread creek...

Required Items to Bring:
Plenty of sports drinks, treking pole, not needed but will come in handy, snack and lunch.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Young Harris, GA 30582 10:45 a.m. Brasstown Valley Resort lobby area. There is a fireplace and comfortable chairs...

Due to limited parking space at the resort, please carpool From Hotel, take I-75 Noth to I-575. Take I-575 North, I-575 turns into 5/515, youll drive through Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and Young Harris. As you go through Young Harris start looking for a sign for Brasstown Valley Resort on the right. As you enter the resort, drive to the lodge and park your car.

Will this event occur rain or shine? No, not if heavy thunderstorms are forecast.
