This is a guided Class I,II,III river trip for all skill levels which incorporates laurel-covered banks and exciting rapids.

We will come back that night and prepare a great dinner! Other activities are up to you on Saturday morning and Sunday… Shuttles, guided trips and full equipment rentals are available through MOE and local outfitters. There are a variety of trails located in Gilmer County. You could see the brass plaque imbedded in a rock overlook designating the beginning of the Appalachian Trail, travel on the Benton MacKaye Trail, see a state record tree, or travel the Cohutta Wilderness area. Or do the river again!
