Kennesaw Mountain is a wonderful resource for improving your fitness so that you can advance to the next level of hiking.  The mountain offers attractive vistas of the surrounding areas, including the Atlanta sky line.  The park also includes information on the historic civil war battle that occurred here.

We will start at the Burnt Hickory Rd. parking lot. We will cross Pigeon hill, hike up Little Kennesaw Mt. to Big Kennesaw Mt. and then down to the Visitors Center for a short break. We will return back the way we came. This will be a casual paced hike. Hikers that are comfortable with the trail may go at their own pace. The total hiking distance is 6 miles.
