Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

We will start at the parking lot near the Fence Road entrance. As this park is new to me, it will be somewhat exploratory, however the plan is to start on West Meadow Trail, and pick up  the Ravine Loop Trail, around the loop, then back the way we came.  We can explore other sections as time permits.  Speed and distance will vary depending on the group pace.  The idea is to both get a workout, as well as take time to 'smell the flowers'.

I have heard a lot of good things about this park.  It is somewhat hilly, hence the D3.  Part of the trail system is paved but we will hike much of the unpaved trails.

There is a good chance we will see deer and other wildlife.
