Douglas County's "Boundary Waters
Park" is a 500-acre facility adjoining the Chattahoochee River, just SE of
the city of Douglasville (about 25 miles SW of Atlanta, mainly via I-20).
Much of this beautiful park has been set aside for a multi-use trail system
suitable for hiking, running, biking and horseback riding. Other portions of
the park are dedicated to sports including swimming, baseball, soccer, etc.
