Itinerary:

Douglas County's "Boundary Waters Park" is a 500-acre facility adjoining the Chattahoochee River, just SE of the city of Douglasville (about 25 miles SW of Atlanta, mainly via I-20).  Much of this beautiful park has been set aside for a multi-use trail system suitable for hiking, running, biking and horseback riding. Other portions of the park are dedicated to sports including swimming, baseball, soccer, etc.
The park offers three scenic trails, Blue (1 mile), Yellow (2 miles), and Red (5 miles).
We'll meet at 4pm in the parking lot at the baseball feilds.  We'll begin our hike on the  Red trail, and possibly do some of the yellow trail. Total hiking distance will be about six miles at a moderate pace.
