Itinerary:

First, we will be hiking both the Waterfalls Trail and Sitton's Gulch Loop Trail for a total of 6.5 miles round trip from the top of the stairs (approximately 600 steps).  This will allow us to view the Canyon from the floor.  We will then hike the West Rim Loop Trail for another 4.8 miles giving us views down into the canyon and an amazing view towards the West from the top of the mountain.

Total distance of hiking will be approximately 11 miles.  


$5 entrance fee into the state park per car.

Good hiking shoes/boots

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $78.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
