This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Join us for an evening hike at Forsyth's newest Trail - Charleston Park. This is a trail that is used for mountain biking and trail running, and we'll be hiking on it. The 6 mile trail meanders around a cove on Lake Lanier, and has several small and gradual elevation changes. The trail is not real wide so we will walk against travel direction of bikes. Everyone will need to be prepared to move out of their way quickly should anyone be riding. I listed it as an exploratory as I recently rode this trail once, and found it is not well marked, yet makes sense as an entry path and a couple of loops. We'll figure it out. :)

Due to the nature of bike use and not knowing if it's heavily used on evenings, I will be keeping the number of participants to 12. If you're on the wait list you may receive a last minute email. :)
