Itinerary:
We will hike nearly all of the trails in Sawnee Mountain Preserve. Total distance should be about 5.5 miles with just over 1000 feet of total ascent.

This is a nice park with some scenic views of the distant Blue Ridge mountains to the North. All of the trails are well graded with relatively even terrain, but with a couple of slightly steep sections in there....so you should be in reasonably good shape before attempting this hike. We will take a lunch/snack break midway through at the "Indian Seats" area near the summit.
