Itinerary:

Fast 5 at 5 = Fast 5 miles at 5:00 pm.

We will start our hike from the small parking lot immediately on your left as you come into the park area (just past the front entrance gate).  We will do the "lollipop" section, back to the parking lot, then proceed to the Visitor Center and return to the small parking lot walking on the road (which provides a nice finishing incline for a little extra burn).  We will hike at a quick pace.  This is not a trail run but it will be a fast one.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From Atlanta, travel north on Highway 400 to Northridge Road - Exit 6.

As you exit, remain in the right lane and cross the highway bridge.

Turn right (north) at the first traffic light to Dunwoody Place.

Continue north for 0.6 mile and turn right (east) on Roberts Drive.

Go for 0.7 mile, crossing beneath Highway 400 to Island Ford Parkway.

Turn right (north) and turn immediately to the left into the small (first) parking lot.


Notes:

Restrooms are available at the Visitor's Center which is at the end of Island Ford Parkway.  Open until 5 pm.
