Itinerary:

Join me for an evening hike at Vickery Creek! We will meet at the Mill parking lot to start our 5.5 mile hike. Beth Ash will be co-leading as part of her PTL training, so she will be sweeping for me. I've done this hike many times, but this is my first time leading it. So... I'll be using my "cheat sheet map" to keep us heading in the right direction. (Comments from the "peanut gallery" will be ignored.) We will be going at a moderately fast pace in order to keep our heart rate up, so this is not a beginner's hike.

The weather will be sunny and in the 80's, so be sure to bring enough water and dress for the heat. Also - keep in mind that the mosquitos are out in full force after all the rain, and the poison ivy is very robust along the trails. Bug repellent and protection for your legs are highly recommended.

We start promptly at 6:00 pm, so please arrive a few minutes early for check in.
