Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Join us for a fun hike around Tallulah Gorge, a beautiful river canyon in North Georgia that offers spectacular scenery and great swimming.

Please note we will queue up for gorge access permits at the visitors center promptly at 8am.

We plan to hike the North and South Rim Trails, Hurricane Falls Trail Loop, Inspiration Loop Trail and also the High Bluff Trail. After completing our hiking we will proceed to the gorge floor for lunch and a swim if weather permits.

The trip to the gorge floor will be highly dependent on the weather, if it is raining we will not be going to the gorge floor as permits will not be issued, but rest assured we will still plan to hike all of the trails.

You will also be able to get your Canyon Climbers Club cards stamped.
