Itinerary:

From the parking lot we will walk on a couple of different trails to the banks of the Chattahoochee. When we reach Sibley pond, we will head East towards the old flour mill by Paper Mill Rd. to take a water break and eat our snacks. Then we will proceed by smaller trails in the Sope Creek area to see the old paper mill that was burned by Union forces during the Civil War (a must see) across the creek. From here we will make our way to Cochran Shoals and loop back to the Sope Creek parking lot.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Coming from downtown Atlanta drive north on I 75 until Exit 261. Take a right to East Delk Road. After a little over a mile, Delk Rd. dead ends at Terrell Mill. Turn left on Terrell Mill for about one mile, until you reach Paper Mill Rd. Turn right on Paper Mill Rd. and proceed another mile or so. The parking will be on your right.
