Garlic, Graves and Gore III

Garlic: Optional dinner beforehand at Paizanos Italian Restaurant in Historic Norcross. Eat lots of garlic to ward off evil spirits. Meet at 5:00 PM if you're going to EAT!

Graves: Urban Hike through downtown Norcross at dusk including a walk through Old Norcross Cemetery which has grave sites dating back to the 1800's.

Gore: Then we're going to Netherworld Haunted House together and we'll go through it as a group. Your participation in Netherworld is optional.

It's back! The Third Annual GGG. This was a huge hit the last two years so we're doing it again! Join us for a fun night to get in the Halloween Spirit. We'll start out with dinner at Paizanos Italian Restaurant in downtown Norcross. Then from there we'll head out on a 3.5 to 4 mile Urban Hike through Norcross and as it darkens we'll take a detour through an old cemetery.  Sunset is 7:07 pm so a part of this hike will be in the dark. After the Urban Hike, we'll drive a short distance to Netherworld Haunted House (about 4 miles) and do just the MAIN TOUR (Season of the Witch). The cost for Netherworld is $22 and it is indoors but the line is outdoors. Netherworld is the mothertrucker of all haunted houses. If you like to be scared - this is the place to be.

Meet at Paizanos at 5:00 if you want to have dinner with us. Otherwise meet us outside of Paizanos at 6:15 to start the Urban Hike. The hike will take about 2 hours and we should be finished with it by 8:30. We'll leave Norcross and head over to Netherworld. We'll have to buy our tickets and stand in line. The standing in line part is really awesome and is half the fun. I'm estimating it will take 2 hours to stand in line and complete the tour at the Haunted House. I'm guessing we should be finished by 11:30 or so.

Private carpools are encouraged. A small flashlight is recommended for the Urban Hike.

FEEL FREE TO WEAR A NON-SCARY COSTUME IF YOU'D LIKE (Norcross is family oriented and I'd rather not have to go to the local jail to collect anyone who scares some poor child into turning into Jason Vorhees or Freddy Krueger!!)

You may purchase your ticket ahead of time and print it at home. This would allow you to keep our place in line if others needed to go to the ticket window and purchase theirs. I would recommend purchasing your ticket the day of online provided the weather looks good for that evening. No money will go through AOC and AOC is not responsible for the cost of your ticket should the event cancel.

Netherworld is at 6624 Dawson Blvd Norcross 30093. You will be responsible for getting yourself from the restauarant to Netherworld. The roads close to it can get busy so please don't rely on following me or another member.
