Itinerary: meet at Lookout Mountain Flight Park at 11:00 a.m. We will gather there and then go to the launching pad area to eat our sack lunches and watch the earlier groups fly. We will then be suited up at around 12:30 and start flying at 1:30 until all members have flown. We may try to find someplace to eat dinner after everyone has flown.

Food can be brought with you, or purchased at low prices in town or at the park.

Other Options in Chattanooga: Camping is $5.00 per person (paid to the park on arrival). Beautiful campground, centered between the 44 acre landing zone and picturesque Lookout Creek. Many other activities to enjoy nearby. Cloudland Canyon offers the most scenic state park in Georgia; and is located 6 miles from the flight park. Directions From ATLANTA
Note: It takes about 30 minutes to get to Lookout Mountain Flight Park once you reach Chattanooga, Tennessee.
1) Take I-75 North to Chattanooga.
2) Take I-24 West; Go 17.1 miles
3) Take I-59 South; Go 7.8 miles, then
4) Get off at Trenton
Turn left at end of exit ramp
Go 3/10 mile, then
5) Turn right at stop light (onto Highway 11);Go 1/10 mile, then
6) Turn left at traffic light (onto 136);Go 1.1 miles, then
7) Turn left (Piney Road);Go 4.7 miles, then
8) At top of mountain, turn right at stop sign (onto 189);Go 6/10 mile, and
9) Flight Park is on your right
