Itinerary:

Come and join me on a hike after Christimas Eve. Cherokee Trail runs around Stone Mountain, and is a nice, wooded trail with plenty of lake views. We will hike approximately 5,5 miles keeping a moderate to fast pace with few rest stops. The direction will be counterclockwise.

The meeting point is outside the restrooms at the Confederate Hall (where people climbing the mountain normally start).

There is a $10 parking fee to enter the park. However, free public parking is available in Stone Mountain Village. See directions below. If you park outside, be at least 15 minutes earlier to make the walk into the park.
