It was a special day! It was my first official AOC hike since the CoVid-19 shutdown in March; it was the 6th Anniversary of our Thursday morning hikes at Island Ford; and it was Regina's 100th AOC event!  
Sadly, we could have just 10 participants on the hike instead of our usual 20 - - and my co-lead, Carol, is still recuperating from a stress fracture - - but it was great to be back on the trails nonetheless.  
Rain was in the forecast for today, but not enough to cancel the hike. As we gathered together, a misty rain began, but Michelle was the only one to don rain gear. It didn't stay on for long, because the skies cleared, giving us good weather throughout the hike. (Good ol' rain bubble still in action!)
Congratulations to Regina on her milestone hike! She's waited for this 100th for a couple of months, so it's nice to finally have it on the record! ~ Joyce
