The Atlanta Outdoor Club (AOC) is an outdoor event-oriented social club established in late 2000. Our focus is offering a wide variety of outdoor events to young-hearted, active adults 21 years of age and older. Whether you are new to the Atlanta area or have lived here your whole life, the AOC is a great way to explore the outdoors of Georgia and the Southeast (and sometimes beyond) with a fun, friendly and active group.
Each month we have regular outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, backpacking, caving, mountain biking, white water rafting, kayaking and canoeing as well as a monthly social event, and "special" outdoor activities such as survival skills classes, hang-gliding, sailing, scuba diving and environmental support projects.
You will also find events where we have reserved a number of spots on the event just for those members that have attended less than 3 events so far. These are marked with a ** before the title.
The AOC is FREE to join. Not convinced? Get more general information, see our membership statistics, and read our faqs. Contact us with any further questions you may have..
