A captivating trek can be achieved by reasons of why each of us participate in a hike such as yesterday's delightful lollipop route at Standing Indian.  Although our ascent was somewhat challenging by some, a few propelled with ease, but yet paused at designated points for regrouping.  By then everyone reaped the reward of a magnificient weather atop the mountain where we had lunch, photo-op... and some a catnap. Returning in the other half of the lollipop, I think most everyone will agree that it was more challenging as we took a very steep bushwhacking descent.  I should call it "buttwhacking" as several of us fell on our butts (once or twice) while some remained up (especially Sachi) all the way to the leveled paths.  I always love to "cannonize" interesting people like Allan W with whom I have great respect for strength and safety. So, I call him my "safety engineer and master navigator" for having such qualifications. I want to "cannonize" John W as the "Goodwill Ambassador" not that he patronizes the Goodwill Stores (like I do), but for having such patience and friendly attitude. Everyone was a "Pro"...
