Write Up:
19 people left the carpool location just after 8:15 AM. After a brief stop in Cleveland we arrived at the AT Trail at the base of Rock Mtn, snapped a group photo, put on our hiking gear, and started our long ascent up Rock Mtn and continued on to Tray Mtn. After our ascend to the top of Tray Mtn, we broke for a 20-30 minute lunch and enjoyed a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and landscape! Sky was clear and sunny, and temperature in the low 60s. After lunch, we headed back on the same trail. Hiking back up Rock Mtn proved to be challenging and hard on the knees and legs. On the way back to the carpool parking lot, a few of us we stopped at a Mexican restaurant for dinner.
