Itinerary:

Here's our 4th hike on this special Mexican holiday.  Join us on one of them, two of them, or even all of them, if you can!  Wear Mexican colors  (red, green, and white) and get into the spirit of the day!  We'll take a break between hikes 3 and 4 to have a Mexican lunch at Tijuana Joe's on Roswell Road (Sandy Springs). Lunch will take place around 2 pm.  Join us before this hike, if you can.

This hike will be an after-lunch leg-stretcher at a park just minutes from Tijuana Joe's on Roswell Road, where the group will have gathered for lunch.  If you would like to join us for lunch before this hike, we'll be meeting there about 2 pm.

There are bathroom facilities at this location and NO parking fees! It doesn't get any better than that.

Morgan Falls Park provides some scenic overlooks of the Bull Sluice Lake, which is a small reservoir of the Chattahoochee River, including a chance to see Gold Branch from the Morgan Falls Dam side of the lake.   After hiking the one-mile trail across the "mountain",  we'll walk down the road to the dam to get a close-up look at the structure that governs the depth of the lake. Then, we'll hike past  a couple of dog parks  that provide a safe playground area for our four-footed friends.  We'll hike a little further by a little lake before returning to the parking lot.

Please be prompt.  The hike starts at 3:30 pm!
