Itinerary:

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Yes friends...it keeps getting better and better. Come join two of your favorite turkeys hiking in our turkey hats.  (Our antics always make for a fun time.) We're doing two hikes on Two Turkey Tuesday and hope you can join us on at least one of them. Expect the pace of this hike to be on the faster side as these hats are definitely more aerodynamic than the Cinco De Mayo sombreros.

These two turkeys are leaving the roost on time. Please arrive a few minutes before the hike is scheduled to start for check in and introductions. Allow a couple of extra minutes if you want us to sign autographs.

Someone should wear orange, although we'll probably be safe as turkey season doesn't open until March 24.

Description of the terrain: There are lots of trails around the park that are a mix of packed gravel and asphalt. We plan on covering close to 4 miles - we'll make two trips around the lake and double up the prettiest loop on the trail to stretch it out a little bit. The trails are nice and wide and wind through lots of soccer and baseball fields as well as some wooded areas and a pretty lake.

This is a dog-friendly park, with many dogs on the trail.  You are welcome to bring your dog as long as you keep it on leash during the hike and clean up any messes that it makes.

** Please note the directions below as we are meeting just outside of the park. **
