Write Up:It was raining when we left Atlanta. Fortunately, the rain let up by the time that we arrived at camp. It was dark and damp, but we quickly pitched our tents and started a nice campfireing again in the area.
Saturday night, we gathered around the fire again while cooking dinner. Mike had already shown off his cooking skills at breakfast so we roped him into cooking again at dinner. After a feast of spaghetti and garlic bread, we had s’mores and toasted marshmallows. Saturday night we had entertainment. We listened to a few CD’s, and later Darcy shared her belly dancing skills with us. Still later, Michael sang a few songs and played guitar for us, with Dawnmarie and others harmonizing or singing along. Just about everyone danced around the fire at some point during the evening.
Sunday morning, it began to rain while we were cooking breakfast. So we finished up breakfast, broke down camp and went our separate ways. It was a great weekend.
