Write Up:
On the way to MOEtel from Atlanta highway 52 proved to be elusive, but everyone still made it to the cabin on time. The festivities started with a hot dog roast courtesy of grillmaster Chris. After dinner we played a game called "Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars" and proved conclusively that neither sex knows much about the other. We also played a short game of Guesstures. After the games Chris, JP, and Jay treated the group to a acoustic concert. Spice Girls should never be played that way (is there a good way to play it though?).

The next morning after breakfast we headed for the kayaking trip. After getting instructions and gear we got on the bus to the river. Once acclimated to our kayaks we were on our way. The Cartecay river was quite low which made it easy to get stuck on the rocks. No one swam except Carrie and Jay who intentionally surfed the last rapid. All of the guides were very helpful and patient with the beginners. The trip seemed to go fast because at the end we were certainly ready for more. Time flies as they say!

Back at the cabin everyone was too tired to do more than rest. Once we got some energy back, some of us played a game of bocce ball on the lawn. It proved to be a great drinking game. JP came away the winner. After a big spaghetti dinner everyone was too tired to do more than chill in the living room and talk. The next morning we slept late (almost too late - the kayaking wore us out apparently). We had a quick breakfast, packed and cleaned. Sadly the trip was over.
