Write Up:

We  AOC "Irishmen & Irishwomen" had tons of fun together celebrating the Mar 17 "wearin' o' the green" at Mason Mill Park.  The 70-degree balmy weather was perfect for everything.
Thanks to Joyce for recording the festive event for posterity by taking several dozen colorful photos and by kindly sharing her Facebook photo album at this clickable link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153813249255260.1073742465.540275259&type=1&l=936e3e16a0
After kicking things off with a leisurely 4-mile hike to nearby Medlock Park we regrouped at our previously claimed picnic pavilion near our vehicles and pigged out on a sumptuous "Potluck Picnic."
We wrapped the evening up with some nice views of brilliant Jupiter, Venus, Sirius, Orion and other amazing heavenly objects.
Thanks also to everyone for singing some nostalgic old Irish songs with me including Danny Boy, When Irish Eyes are Smilin', and It's a Great Day for the Irish!  I was proud of everyone letting our hair down with the hilarious arm & hand movements of the Irish Rovers' "Unicorn Song":

There were green alligators and long-neck geese,
   some humpty-back camels some chimpanzees,
Some cats and rats & elephants, but sure as you're born...
You're never gonna see no unicorn!
