We had a good time and learned a lot about plants & animals this morning at the GA Perimeter College Botanical Garden "Walk & Talk."  Barbara will be on a safari trip to South Africa in a couple of weeks and felt especially lucky to discover this AOC event.  The subject of our host's talk and slide show was his own fascinating trip to South Africa this past December. Some of us took advantage of the wide selection of potted native plants in their Garden shop to add to our own gardens at home.  Thanks to David Funderburk and the GPC staff for treating the general public to this excellent free series of events - every Friday each spring and fall. - Submitted by Charlie, Fri afternoon
