This morning began with sprinkles and high humidity. Upon reaching the top of big Kennesaw, a nice wind with drier air blew the clouds and moisture away. We hiked over the mountains and hills to Burnt Hickory Rd. Took a short break. Then took the East trail back to the park Visitors Center. Total miles, 6. Total time 2:32. Elevation gain 1,019 ft. Average moving speed, 2.9 mph. An enjoyable and sociable hike today.
