Write Up:
Well it started really early in the morning and the diehards showed up at 0 dark 30 to ride up to the gorge. We got there and got our passes and started the trip down to the gorge floor. The first 300 steps were fine and then came the suspension bridge. We naturally had to jump and down on it to see if we could make it swing. We managed to make it swing but quickly got bored and took a bunch of pics and moved on. Then the next 200 steps and the landing. On the landing we came to the special super secret gate that only those knighted with gorge floor passes my walk through. We then passed through it and looked before us and uh "where is the trail?" Before laid the river and some large rocks and we realized uh that is the trail. We bouldered over the river and that was a unique and first time experience for many people. We then battled our way through rock gardens, over logs and bad jokes from Nick and Chris and found the garden of eden (well sorta). We then played and slid down the falls repeatedly for hours. Then made our way back which seemed so much shorter a trip. Of course that line of thought ended with the steps looming before us. But we made it and departed happy, a little bruised and sore. But of course on Monday when your co workers ask you "what did u do this weekend"? You can smile and say well . . . let me tell you about it ... see you at my next adventure.
