Write Up:
Most of us met near the Candler Park Golf course around 10 in the morning. After getting organized and signing waivers, we headed down the hill and got on the Stone Mountain Atlanta Greenway trail and headed towards downtown. After riding about a mile, we came upon the lost riders, who had gotten to the trail early and started without us. Next, we took a detour to Ponce Deleon, because we wanted to see where a spur of the trail went. A tree was down on this section of trail, however we could easily ride around it. After the Ponce Detour, we got back on the main trail and headed downtown. We then rode back and decided to meet at Hand in Hand in the Highlands for some brunch and well deserved beverages.
