We were grateful for the rain bubble that spared us any precipitation during this morning's hike at Sope Creek. Rain drenched much of the area, but we were spared completely! It was Milt's first time at Sope Creek, so we first went to the ruins for some photos before covering some of the inner trails. We even got a bridge shot at the end of the hike and saw a couple of turtles sunning on the "turtle log." Divya Naidu, I thought of you! :-) Congratulations to Patricia Taylor on just getting her gold star, signifying that she's now a fully credentialed trip leader! (We're looking forward to joining her on her Leita Thompson hike next Tuesday morning!) ~ Joyce
