Driving north from Atlanta, the cloud covered city gave way to a partly cloudy and mostly sunny sky in Ellijay and along the Cartecay River - our final destination.  Extremely pleasant weather for the last weekend of the month! Most people had dropped from this event, but our group carried on and enjoyed the hike to the river, hanging out and swimming.  It was good to get to know the attendees with conversations of substance.  Stopped for some apples on the way home.  Thanks for a good Sunday in the woods, at the river, and in the river with like-minded souls.  -Kristi
