Sat, Nov 14 2015 - Guide Me To The Water (View Original Event Details)|
Today was a beautiful day on the water. It was much warmer than anticipated and there was not a cloud in the sky. It was nice getting to visit a new state park, where the water was calm and peaceful. When we were not talking, all we heard were the sounds of our paddles gliding through the water. We welcome our newest member, Joe, and look forward to paddling with you again! We paddled approximately 7 miles from Richard B. Russell State Park, crossing the Savannah River and setting foot in South Carolina before returning to take out. It was also very interesting to stop by and see the Georgia Guidestones on the way to the park. We look forward to a return visit to explore the area further.
