The third time really was the charm! The weather for the hike was perfect - - chilly at first, but after the climb up the Red Trail, we were all warmed up enough to remove jackets and gloves. The temperature for the remainder of the hike was perfect. We saw beautiful scenes of the dam and the lake, and even spotted a rarely seen lion's mane mushroom. Lunch at SWheat Market Deli in Cartersville was a perfect ending to the event.  ~  Joyce
