There could be no better way to start Thanksgiving Day than an energizing hike on a cool, crisp fall morning! The drive to Island Ford was eerily free of cars for our 9 am start, but the park was full of vacation-day hikers enjoying their day off. We had many of our Thursday regulars, but enjoyed seeing several new faces - - Joy, Christina, and Lynn. Now it's time to take back those calories we expended by heading to our separate Thanksgiving dinners. A happy holiday to all of you! ~ Joyce
