Yesterday's weather was horrible . . . but Mother Nature blessed us today with a bright, sunshine-filled morning. It was perfect for the last hike of the year. We had a large group of 19 - - all grateful to be able to work off some of the holiday calories we accumulated. Since the trails got a lot of rain, we spent the first part of the hike walking through DaveO's neighborhood, where we could get some beautiful views and still keep our feet wet.  

Returning to lunch at the North River Tavern was a welcome way to end the hike. They really love to see us every week!
