We had a great group this afternoon with lots of trip leaders for my first colead with the AOC.  It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, a little chilly, but we warmed up nicely as the hike got started.  The water level of the Chattahoochee was unusually high due to all the recent rain but provided a different perspective than usual to this hike.  We stopped in the bamboo forest for a photo op and climbed to several scenic overlooks for incredible views of the river.  On our way back, we stopped by the cave for a few more pictures, climbed some steep ascents and passed by beautiful rock croppings on our way back to the parking area.
