It was the best of hikes, it was the worst of hikes....

Bushwhacking, downed trees, slip-sliding rocks, tough uphills....good company, beautiful scenery, decent weather, and a friendly crowd.

Elevation gain was 3319 and distance was 12 miles.  The hike was promoted to a D5.

What a great day!
