We had a small but committed group of hikers.  Unfortunately, the rain came in earlier than predicted and we had a steady drizzle when we started the hike. By the time we were a half mile into the hike the rain became steady, just short of a down pour.  Barring the Suwanee Creek overflowing the trail, we decided to see how far we could go.  At a little over the mile mark, any clothing not covered by rain gear was pretty well soaked.  We decided to turn around and managed to get about a 2 mile hike in, at brisk pace.  We got done just in time to keep this event from changing into a Water event, from an Urban Hike.  We’ll be out there again next week.
