This Valentine's Day hike was a chilly start but we had such a great group of positive, fun people. The cold weather gave us a few extra treats in that there were lots of ice formations on the river and rocks and a very cool icicle wall at Raven Cliff.  Joe and Preeda climbed all the way to the top of Raven Cliff!  John told one of the best and funniest trail stories I've ever heard and kept us laughing all day!  After the Duke's Creek hike we went into Helen and stopped for a bit at Betty's country store where everyone bought their homemade salsa and other homemade dips.   Then we went to Cafe International where we had a an excellent lunch.  Our waitriess was so funny and entertaining and gave us all valentine's candy.  What a perfect way to spend Valentine's Day!!
